    Glendale takes care of all aspects of tree management, both in rural and urban situations, for health and safety risk management or aesthetic purposes. This includes tree surgery, removal, compliance inspections and surveys. We have held many of our tree stock management contracts for over 20 years, with clients relying on our professional and industrious approach.

    Our urban arboriculture services cover such areas as public highways, amenity spaces including parks and playgrounds and public estate.

    We are also highly experienced in utility arboriculture which includes clearing powerlines of trees and vegetation for national electricity and telephone companies.

    Utility Arboriculture Team Leaders-Birmingham

    £25,000 p.a. + 28 days annual leave, pension, excellent training & career progression

    Due to increased workload we now require experienced members of staff to lead teams of utility arborists working throughout the Midlands.

    The successful candidates will conduct utility arb operations in line with relevant industry guidelines and requirements.

    Candidates will need to be ready to lead a team and have a minimum of 3 years utility arboriculture. The Team Leader will fit into a professional yet friendly operation with the emphasis on quality rather than quantity and fully buy into the requirements to maintain the very highest safety standards, ensuring that the customers and clients needs are at the forefront of all decisions and actions.

    Candidates ideally should hold:
    CS30, 31, 38, 39, 40
    UA1, UA2.1 UA2.2 UA2.3 and re-certs where applicable
    Current first aid certificate
    Full driving licence

    Street works and MEWP certification would be an advantage.
